1. Login to the archive site
2. Go to Settings and then choose ‘Democracy Poll’
3. Top Menu, choose ‘add new poll’
4. Create the title: this is entered into the Question field
5. Answers: Enter, YES, NO, ABSTAIN options
6. If you don’t want write in answers, un–check the next box: “allow users to add answers’
7. Select activate poll and then uncheck the remaining boxes
8. Enter the closing date: this will be 7 days after the secretary announces that the poll is open, entering time is not an option.  Note: the date you choose is automatically set to 12:00 am, so add a day to get your full 7 days of voting.  Timezone is unknown at this time and needs to be confirmed with Esosoft.

Once you save the poll, an id will be created:

The code seen above in brackets, will get added to whatever page hosts the poll.  The page link will be sent to the voters as part of the Business Meeting protocol.
