[Businessmtg] Proposed Motion

Biz-Pals,

I believe this proposed motion is much too restrictive. Unless the committee is permitted to freely address all newcomer-related materials which newcomers receive either from the greeters, the list administrator, or information which is available on our website and which permits the committee the the freedom to suggest any fresh ideas which brainstorming may produce, then a thorough review is not possible.

What I am suggesting is that all ASP materials, current and future, are subject to Business Committee oversight and approval by Group Conscience rather than by authorship of whichever trusted servant happens to be in office at any given time. ASP has a vested interest in presenting ASP's message uniformly through all its

Motion:  I move that the ASP Secretary form a temporary committee/work group of interested ASP members to produce a template for the Newcomers Page on the ASP Members website to be presented to the Business Meeting.
