The Miscellaneous Policy Page

At first glance, it might seem a little silly to post a page listing the miscellaneous policies of the meeting. However, it has been our experience that there is a need for just such a thing. Sometimes it seems that online meetings are just a little more volatile than f2f meetings, so we decided to put all of our policies on our Web site so that every member had complete access to them. In this way, our newest members can see what our policies are, and perhaps avoid the embarrassment that comes with violating one of them. Additionally, it prevents our older members from becoming the keepers of ‘phantom policies’ pulled out of the deep, dark past to support their perspectives.

From time to time the structure of this page may be adjusted to make it easier to find things, and take advantage of changing technology. However the content will not change without a group conscious of either the Steering Committee or the meeting as a whole.
