Business Meeting Instruction Page
Here you will find all the instructions you need for participating in the Business Meeting at A Serenity Place.
Bring up an issue at our business meeting:
Send a note to the any member of the Steering Committee at Steering Committee with your request. Please note that ASP requires members requesting an agenda topic for the Business Meeting must attend the Business Meeting, or the topic will be dropped. You may be asked to explain for provide background for you agenda topic by the Steering Committee or by members of the Business Meeting.
We do not discuss issues in the Business Meeting that are not on the agenda. Nor do we discuss agenda items that are not currently on the floor. The Chair of the Business Meeting will announce when Agenda Items change and is responsible for keeping the Business Meeting on topic.
We do not discuss business issues in the ASP recovery meeting, so please do not post any business-related messages to ASP.
Post a message to the Business Meeting:
Address your share to: Businessmtg@asp-afg.org
Do not include any other addressees in your message besides the Business Meeting server or the server will reject your share. Most of the time this happens when members use the Reply to All functions on their email.
If you receive a message from the server that refers to “too many recipients” or “multiple recipients”, that means that you addressed your email to more than one address. Please make certain that any email sent to the server is address to the Business Meeting and only the Business Meeting. Thanks!
Send a Reply to the originator Privately:
Simply use your Reply function when you are here at the Business Meeting of A Serenity Place; the server will send it to the originator only.
Send a Reply to a post to the whole meeting:
Change the address in your Reply to: Businessmtg@asp-afg.org
Make yourself available for a service position:
Send a note to the Steering Committee. Please include a complete copy of your resume using the ASP Resume Form found at ASP Resume Form.
Unsubscribe–leave the Business Meeting:

Access the Business Meeting Archives:
Go to https://asp-afg.org/mailman/listinfo/businessmtg
Click on the link “ASP Archives”. This will bring you to the page where you can view the archives by Month and from there by ‘Thread’, ‘Author’, ‘Subject’, ‘Date’. Please respect the privacy and anonymity of all members of ASP by only reading the archives.
Get your Business Meeting Password
If you have forgotten your password, Go to https://asp-afg.org/mailman/listinfo/businessmtg Enter the email address you are subscribed to the ASP Business Meeting with in the box near the bottom of the page and click on the button “Edit Options”. Click on the button “Email My Password To Me” — the server will email your password you in just a moment.
