The Meeting Readings:<\/h1>\n

Each day, we have a new meeting at A Serenity Place. And each day has a new topic. Some days are designated for special topics like the Steps, the Traditions and the Slogans. On other days, the topics are open and left up to the chairperson of the day’s meeting.<\/p>\n

In addition to each day’s meeting having a different topic, the reading posted with the opening of each day’s meeting changes during the week. Every day’s meeting opens with the Serenity Prayer and the Al-Anon Suggested Welcome. In addtion, each day shares in the posting of the other readings typically read at our face to face meetings. We start each week on Sunday with the Preamble to the Twelve Steps and work our way through the other readings until we get to Saturday when the Al-Anon Suggested Closing is read.<\/p>\n
