2006<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-size: xx-large\">Business Meeting<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open to all members of ASP<\/li>\n<li>The Group Conscience of ASP on issues not specifically delegated to the Steering Committee\n<ul>\n<li>Establish\u00a0<em>general<\/em> meeting policies by substantial unanimity of subscribed membership of Business Committee<\/li>\n<li>Changes to ASP core policies require 2\/3 majority of subscribed membership of Business Committee<\/li>\n<li>Secretary may impose 2\/3 majority requirement on any significant or controversial issue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Meets via a mailing list separate from the ASP recovery meeting mailing list<\/li>\n<li>Elects the members of Business Meeting to the Steering Committee<\/li>\n<li>Trusted Servants of the Business Meeting\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Secretary<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Chairs the Business Meeting<\/li>\n<li>Records Group Consciences of the Business Meeting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Treasurer<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Administers the 7th Tradition as ASP by Passing the Basket monthly\n<ul>\n<li>Accepts donations from ASP members<\/li>\n<li>Deposits funds received in a bank account<\/li>\n<li>Disburses funds as necessary to pay ASP financial obligations<\/li>\n<li>Reports monthly to Steering Committee and Business Committee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>OLA-IS Rep<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>ASP representative to OLA-IS (Online Intergroup)<\/li>\n<li>Reports monthly to Business Meeting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-size: xx-large\"><a name=\"Steering Committee\"><\/a>Steering Committee<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsibilities\n<ul>\n<li>Contract with necessary service providers\n<ul>\n<li>Domain name registration<\/li>\n<li>Mailing List hosting<\/li>\n<li>Web Site hosting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Administer all technical affairs of ASP<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of ASP policy &amp; practices<\/li>\n<li>May make autonomous decisions when needed<\/li>\n<li>Report to Business Meeting monthly\n<ul>\n<li>Suggested changes to policy &amp; practices<\/li>\n<li>Generalized report of actions taken<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Members elected by the Business Meeting (3-year term; Panel refers to year elected to office).\n<ul>\n<li><strong>List Administrator (Panel A)<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>The primary leadership position of ASP<\/li>\n<li>Chairs the Steering Committee\n<ul>\n<li>Primary spokesperson for the Steering Committee<\/li>\n<li>Deals directly with members of ASP regarding ASP policy &amp; practices<\/li>\n<li>Makes autonomous decisions regarding ASP affairs, when needed<\/li>\n<li>Keep others on Steering Committee thoroughly informed of all communication involving or representing the Steering Committee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for technical administration of the ASP mailing list<\/li>\n<li>Meeting Contact\n<ul>\n<li>Primary contact person with WSO<\/li>\n<li>Online meetings are not &#8220;Groups&#8221; and therefore do not have GRs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Serves for three years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Secretary (Panel B)<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Chairs the Business Meeting<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the Daily Chairpersons in the ASP meeting\n<ul>\n<li>Appoints Daily Chairpersons to 6-month position<\/li>\n<li>Instructs\/trains Daily Chairpersons<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Alternate List Administrator #1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Greeter Chairperson (Panel C)<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Chairs the Greeter Committee\n<ul>\n<li>Appoints Greeters<\/li>\n<li>Instructs\/trains Greeters<\/li>\n<li>Oversees greeting process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Alternate List Administrator #2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Web Master (Panel C)<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintains ASP web sites\n<ul>\n<li>Primary ASP web site open to the public\n<ul>\n<li>Source of information about ASP for non-members<\/li>\n<li>Primary gateway for joining ASP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Secondary ASP web site for ASP members only\n<ul>\n<li>Source of administrative and business information to ASP members<\/li>\n<li>Archive access for members<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Alternate List Administrator #3<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Treasurer (Panel
