ASP’s Business Meeting
ASP business such as elections and discussions of policy is done in the ASP Business Meeting. The ASP Business Meeting is the Group Conscience of ASP. The Steering Committee, composed of the officers of ASP implements the policies and practices of ASP and conducts the administrative business of ASP.
The ASP Business Meeting is open to all interested members of ASP that have requested to attend prior to the opening of the Business Meeting.
Business Meetings are held on a monthly basis and start on the first of the month. There is a one month break between Business Meetings. We are presently using the Knowledge Based Decision Making Process in our Business Meeting on a trial basis. This process is detailed on the KBDM page.
To participate in the Business Meeting, respond to the announcement of the Business Meeting made in the recovery meeting seven (7) before Business Meeting. The Chair of the Business Meeting will subscribe you to the Business Meeting.
If you are new to the Business Meeting, please read ALL of these pages on the Business Meeting carefully. The Business Meeting does not make adjustments when members enter or leave – so please do NOT interrupt the meeting to ask for a review of previous topics and discussions.
